The third annual Bridgeport Film Fest plans to offer both in-person and virtual screenings, as well guest speakers from the entertainment industry and creative workshops for both youth and adults! All events take place at the historic Klein Memorial Auditorium, unless otherwise noted!

 “In Protest” VR Experience #1 Workshop 

“IN PROTEST: Grassroots Stories from the Front Lines,” is a 360° film series chronicling the unsung heroes of the Black Lives Matter movement. The project honors lives lost while calling for renewed solidarity against racial injustice in America. Followed by discussion with filmmaker, writer  and activist Ericka Mitton.

A bi-racial teenager living in the Bronx in search of his biological father, faces tragedy that could split up his foster home family.

“Authentically Us…” VR Experience #2 Workshop
Authentically Us: Voices from the Transgender Community is a three part virtual series about transgender people living in the American northwest. Their narratives relay the message that transgender people should be able to live and work anywhere, and that they have always been part of our communities. Workshop led by Clan Mother Shoran Waupatukuay Piper, Tribal Head Leader.
